was aweshum...
of course, I've never been to a prom before, but it's awesome as far as first-time experience goes. Arashi, Kat and I shared a table with a few lecturers and staff, in this secluded spot at the side, but ok lah...lousy spot for pic taking, but can see the show quite well...took a few pictures, but only at my table, because my mom's camera kept displaying the 'low battery' logo thingy, so not much pictures of the prom, just the bunch of us cam-whoring...heehee...
then later Arashi and I went jalan-jalan around The Curve (the prom was at Royal Bintang) and spotted our lecturers and staff who disappeared during the last quarter of the night (halfway during dancing time~). Turns out they all cabut to have an after party on their own. We wanted to take a picture of them (bribe them to give us an A), but it was too dark. Arashi took me to this club where the after-party was supposedly held, but the cigarette smell oozing out of the club made me choke, so we chao-ed. It was too packed anyway. So we went to 'The Apartment' to have a drink, I had Sprite (RM9.90 for this lil small bottle!!!) and ate some chocalates. So...minum minum then we went home cuz I told my dad I'll be home at 12 and wanted to keep that promise...or he'll ground me for life!!! Hehe, then I reached home and my cute doggy Ren was waiting for me <3 laaaa... Yeah right, immediately after greeting me at the front gate she rushed to the door and waited there looking at me, as if saying 'Where were you!?! I was waiting all night for you to open this door to let me in!!'
sigh...my dog has no respect for me...I'm her slaaaaave....
owh...there's something else to blog about today...there was this cervical cancer awareness campaign (don't cringe!) and I was the 'lucky' girl chosen to represent age group of 18 to receive a free vaccine. My mom was so cunning...she told me about how expensive it is and how this free vaccine macam once-in-a-lifetime chance, so I decided what the heck, might as well right?
She left out the part where I was to be jabbed in front of everyone present at the campaign, and that there will be media present.
...
I only found out this morning, while wearing this crumpled t-shirt. She was commenting how creased up it looks and I was wondering why she cared so much...then she told me that there will be press there.
What. The. Heck.
What fun, having cameras taking pictures of me getting jabbed.
Turns out I was one among four people to receive this free vaccine (normal rate RM1000+, subsidized RM900+)so it was kinda a big deal.
Very dangerous to have a mother like mine...knows that I'll probably skip if getting jabbed in front of loads of people...so senyap senyap cut out the details...
The jab was alright, felt a lil pinch but after it was okay...my hand felt kinda weak afterwards though, reminded me of BCG (brrrrr....)
Ish, then later when my dad was sending my mom and I home, I noticed that he didn't lock the car door after reaching home, so I said 'car door didn't lock ar?', and he turned around and gave me this pissed off look and said 'didn't lock then lock lah!'
Then my mom helped lock the door, since my dad already walked in a bit and she was near the car, and she noticed my black aura and pissed look and me whispering 'just say that you didn't lock the door also wanna scold...' and gestured at me to cool down and let it go. Ish......luckily my mom was there, or I'll probably have the aura hanging around for much longer...
My dad was probably a bit moody cuz it was my grandfather's death anniversary, so he was busy preparing everything since my mom and I were at the cervical cancer campaign at the DJROA centre, so he had to do everything alone, so it's excusable...but not a reason either.
Ish......
I shall go regain my happy aura by reading D-Gray Man.
