ENOUGH!!!

...I'm really sick of this. Day by day, month by month, I look at the papers and read about some politician dissing some other politician, parties dissing other parties and the all too familiar news about corruption.

Then there's that comment from Ahmad Ismail labelling Chinese as immigrants.

WTF?!?!

Hell, mister, THIS IS OUR COUNTRY AS MUCH AS IT IS YOURS.

We fought the same fight for independence your people did 51 years ago.

It's sickening to think that after 51 years of independence, and 100++ years of living together we still cannot get along.

FOR GOD'S SAKE, RACE IS NOTHING BUT SKIN COLOR!!!

It's crazy to think that we are being categorized as Malay, Chinese, Indian, etc etc., when we are all citizens of EARTH, and countries are just lands with borders. Every citizen of Earth should have the same rights, whether they are Malay, Chinese, Indian, American, African, etc etc.

GROW UP PEOPLE!!! Start to realise that we are all the same, and thus should be treated with equal rights. Forget schools that educate only Malays, Chinese, Indian or wtv, and only have school that educates EVERYONE TOGETHER. If you want to learn your mother tongue, take a language course or something. Of course, there are 'Sekolah Kebangsaan's that educate all, but there still are Chinese and Tamil schools that just promote racial segregation, even though it's unintentional. After all, the reason the British introduced the concept of separate schools for different races was to avoid the people from uniting against them. So since their rule is over, why are those school still there? It's also a big hassle, since those from Chinese and Tamil schools have a hard time if they are not used to Bahasa Malaysia (or is it Bahasa Melayu now?) as the language has poor emphasize in such schools.

Forget any race-basis rules, whether in work, school or anywhere else.

But seriously, when are people going to grow up and realise that we are all the same, even though our ancestor's country of origin isn't Malaysia. But most of us now were born here, raised and brought up with nasi lemak and rendang and roti canais.

In all honesty, I love Malaysia. I was born here. I was raised here. I grew up here. And even though I aspire to travel around the world and live somewhere else, Malaysia will always be my home. So it pains me when the country I love so much is being divided by such an insignificant matter. When will people realise that race is just a skin colour? A Chinese born in the US could be a banana, not understanding a word of chinese and prefers cheeseburgers over noodle soup. An English could be born in Malaysia, and grow up loving durians and prefers nasi lemak ayam over lamb chop. We're all the same, so why are we divided by something that we are born with and have no choice over? We can't decide our race...it's our heritage, passed down from mother to child.

I realise that racism is created, not born with. Babies aren't racist. To them, every other person they see is just as different as the other. They don't judge people by skin colour. Take a good look at kindergartens and day care centres and you'll see all the children playing together, unbiased by race. It's only as we grow older that influences from racial political parties and racist parents that we become racist ourselves. If we take away those, and treat everyone equally, no one will be racist, because there is nothing to fight about.

Forget special rights, those should only be reserved for people with disabilities like OKU, and even they work hard to get to the top.

If you want to get to the top, work your ass off for it, just like everyone else. Don't depend on special rights that existed just because your ancestors arrived in Tanah Melayu before ours did. This isn't just your land...IT'S OURS. For what it's worth, our ancestors time is OVER. Geddit? OVER. It's time to stop living off the past and start working together towards the future. When Malaysia was formed, Chinese and Indians (as well as other races) were already long settled in Tanah Melayu, and we reserved the right to be called MALAYSIANS, not immigrants.

So please, stop bullshitting about this race stuff. Stop it. Enough. We're all Malaysians. Let's work together to build a brighter future for Malaysia and our children. United we stand, divided we fall.

This isn't directed at all Malays, just the racist ones, like Ahmad. And not only that, but people from other races as well, who seem to think that it's alright to insult other races. It's not. And I say that because I know that Malays are also being racially verbally abused by non-Malays. So to racists, STFU or get the hell outta my country.

And finally, I read from Dr. M's web that when a Malay leader made a racist remark, he is expected to apologize, but when people from other races made racist remarks, like the 'Negarakuku' guy, the leaders are not expected to apologize.

Tun, I have great respect from you, but pleeeeaaase lah, the 'Negarakuku' guy wasn't a LEADER. He was just some guy who wanted to get a lil youtube attention. But Ahmad Ismail was a party LEADER, and for such a man who is supposed to set an example to other people, it's wrong to say such remarks. How can Malaysia be in harmony when it's leaders are racist? It's sickening to think that a leader in a country full of various races could made a disgusting remark like that. How can he set a good example?

As a last note, everyone in Malaysia, regardless whether you're Malay or Chinese or wtv...stop being racists and work together to build Malaysia. Other countries already view us as a country with racial disharmony, wouldn't you like nothing better than to prove them wrong? That just because THEY can't solve their racial crisis, doesn't mean that we can't?

And if any of my comments offend, I'm sorry, but they are not meant to offend. Crap, I just remembered about ISA...hoho, I hope I don't get into trouble...
