Aside from that, nothing much happening now. I've basically settled everything for next year...so nothing much left to do. Just left sneaker shopping only. Heh, now I'm in a Devil Beside You mood, as you can tell from the song. ^.^ And I'm currently watching Why Why Love, which has Rainie, Mike and Kingone. Kingone looks really cool in WWL, more 'gaya' than in DBY. Anyone watching WWL, watch the 'behind the scenes' where you can see Kingone acting so cute and funny, never would have thought he's 27 . (T.T...10 years older than me...no hope edi, haihz)

What's wrong with the world?
Benazir Bhutto has died.
As much as it was a shock, still, there's no surprise. There were quite a few asassination attempts on her before. Suicide bombings that claimed many lives.
Seriously, WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THE WORLD???
I just don't get it.
It frustrates me that people are willing to kill someone just to keep her out of politics. It's crazy. This isn't new either. Everyones familiar with Columbine High School, Virginia Tech, and of course the Sept. 11 attacks. And don't think that these things just happen in America. I'm just using those examples because they're more known.
I don't-CAN'T understand why this is happening.
Going on a murderous rampage and killing people just because your life sucks isn't a valid answer.
There isn't a logical answer to taking an innocent life.
If were friends with a murderer, I'd be sick to death.
Have these people no minds? Have they no feelings? Have they no heart?
Life is so valuable. You only have ONE life. There's no 'try again' button appearing on your screen after you've died. Once you've died, that's it.
If you've failed in your exams, there's always others exams to excel in.
If you've failed in business, there's always other oppurtunities.
If you've missed the turning to your house, there's always other junctions, and you could always do a U-turn.
But if you die...there's no turning back.
All these valuable lives...lost because of madmen in this world.
Crazy idiots (for lack of a better word), I hope they rot in hell.

Frustration
Sometimes I hate my life.
Not because I'm my dad won't increase my allowance.
Not because my mom won't let me go out.
Not because 'everyone hates me' and I'm constantly taunted by stinky 'popular' people. Frankly, I couldn't care less about them.
But because my very existence is injuring the planet.
My life basically revolve around energy-consuming electrical items, pollutant-emitting vehicles, forest-depleting paper, and life-sustaining water that I use to wash tiny marks on my finger.
Even as I type this, I can't help feeling guilty.
Sometimes I wonder: Are humans needed on this Earth?
Would the Earth be better off without us?
There's a saying that goes: Among all the species on this planet, we are the only species with the power to protect them all.
And yet we are abusing that power for our own greed and demands.
Are we really that important that no other life matters? That we have the right to invade habitats that belong to other species for our own purposes.
It was on the news a few days ago, that a Siberian tiger escaped from its enclosure in a zoo and attacked three people, killing one of them. The tiger was shot dead while attacking it's third victim. I am personally enraged. What gives us the right to kill the animal? It was, after all, doing what thousand-year old instincts thought it to do.
If aliens from Andromeda were to kidnap me from Earth, bring me back to Andromeda, cage me up and allow other aliens to watch, stare and taunt me in my cage, I'd be pissed too. Can I be blamed if, when I have the chance, I escaped from my enclosure and started attacking aliens that threaten my chance of escaping from this darned place? I didn't ask to be taken from my home. I didn't ask to be caged up. I didn't ask to be in this stupid zoo that is no way similar to my home however much these guys try to make it similar so that visitors can see me 'in my natural environment'?
And this doesn't happen in zoos only. Hundreds of wild animals are killed each year for attacking people that venture into the wild. They aren't even allowed to act like wild animals in their own habitat. It's not their fault. What makes us so important that it gives us the right to kill an animal that acted purely out of instinct?
It already bad enough that the animals are being driven back as we happily deforest their habitat, but now they aren't even allowed to do what thousands of years of evolution molded them to do.
We, after all, ventured into THEIR territory, not the other way around.
This gets me on my nerves many, many times. I could go on, but i'll save you the agony of reading and log off.

26th December...
Neh, nothing much happened today. Just went shopping at the Curve. Bought some shirts and sandals...BUT NO SNEAKERS!!! urgh, just how hard is it to get a nice pair of sneakers??? hmph, I think I should try the place Leng told me, opp. art attack. Hopefully there's something for me. Today's Boxing Day, so BISH BISH BAM BAM...me box you. Merry belated Christmas to all!!!
On a more...sad note, today's the 3rd anniversary of the tragedy that took thousands of lives and shook millions of others all around the world. To families, friends and everyone whose lives where affected one way or another by the tsunami that struck on 26th december 2004, my heart goes out with you. May you be able to carry on living and cherishing the lives that you have now, while remembering those that were lost on that fateful day.
On a more...sad note, today's the 3rd anniversary of the tragedy that took thousands of lives and shook millions of others all around the world. To families, friends and everyone whose lives where affected one way or another by the tsunami that struck on 26th december 2004, my heart goes out with you. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! HO!! HO!! HO!! Wishing all Christians everywhere a very merry Christmas!! I'm sure you've all been good boys and girls and Santa has rewarded you finely this morning or tonight.
Btw, I went to One Academy yesterday. I was really impressed with it, and so was my dad. However, it did had a few important drawbacks.
1. VERY far from my house, which is in DJ
2. Although I'm sure the quality of edu. is good, but it doesn't have any internship programs, which iact has.
3. It has a few design clubs and such, but other than that, it's just as un-clubby as iact.
4. The course costs about 20k more than iact's.
So...from a money and travelling point of view, iact is better.
From the facilities point of view, toa is better because well, they have more money and people to buy equipments for. And they have unlimited entrance to Sunway Lagoon and Sunway Piramid is like, next door. But then again, I'll probably be too busy to go Sunway Piramid-ing or Sumway Lagoon-ing, so not really much difference. Iact, though the facilities are in a smaller scale, but it's sufficient and well maintained.
From the quality of education, I'm sure both are good. Very hard to compare unless you actually went through BOTH colleges. But iact has an internship program, which will really help students to get a job in the industry.
Toa and iact both have a lack of non-academic clubs, so no plus or minus there.
So, all in all, I choose...
