was aweshum...
of course, I've never been to a prom before, but it's awesome as far as first-time experience goes. Arashi, Kat and I shared a table with a few lecturers and staff, in this secluded spot at the side, but ok lah...lousy spot for pic taking, but can see the show quite well...took a few pictures, but only at my table, because my mom's camera kept displaying the 'low battery' logo thingy, so not much pictures of the prom, just the bunch of us cam-whoring...heehee...
then later Arashi and I went jalan-jalan around The Curve (the prom was at Royal Bintang) and spotted our lecturers and staff who disappeared during the last quarter of the night (halfway during dancing time~). Turns out they all cabut to have an after party on their own. We wanted to take a picture of them (bribe them to give us an A), but it was too dark. Arashi took me to this club where the after-party was supposedly held, but the cigarette smell oozing out of the club made me choke, so we chao-ed. It was too packed anyway. So we went to 'The Apartment' to have a drink, I had Sprite (RM9.90 for this lil small bottle!!!) and ate some chocalates. So...minum minum then we went home cuz I told my dad I'll be home at 12 and wanted to keep that promise...or he'll ground me for life!!! Hehe, then I reached home and my cute doggy Ren was waiting for me <3 laaaa... Yeah right, immediately after greeting me at the front gate she rushed to the door and waited there looking at me, as if saying 'Where were you!?! I was waiting all night for you to open this door to let me in!!'
sigh...my dog has no respect for me...I'm her slaaaaave....
owh...there's something else to blog about today...there was this cervical cancer awareness campaign (don't cringe!) and I was the 'lucky' girl chosen to represent age group of 18 to receive a free vaccine. My mom was so cunning...she told me about how expensive it is and how this free vaccine macam once-in-a-lifetime chance, so I decided what the heck, might as well right?
She left out the part where I was to be jabbed in front of everyone present at the campaign, and that there will be media present.
...
I only found out this morning, while wearing this crumpled t-shirt. She was commenting how creased up it looks and I was wondering why she cared so much...then she told me that there will be press there.
What. The. Heck.
What fun, having cameras taking pictures of me getting jabbed.
Turns out I was one among four people to receive this free vaccine (normal rate RM1000+, subsidized RM900+)so it was kinda a big deal.
Very dangerous to have a mother like mine...knows that I'll probably skip if getting jabbed in front of loads of people...so senyap senyap cut out the details...
The jab was alright, felt a lil pinch but after it was okay...my hand felt kinda weak afterwards though, reminded me of BCG (brrrrr....)
Ish, then later when my dad was sending my mom and I home, I noticed that he didn't lock the car door after reaching home, so I said 'car door didn't lock ar?', and he turned around and gave me this pissed off look and said 'didn't lock then lock lah!'
Then my mom helped lock the door, since my dad already walked in a bit and she was near the car, and she noticed my black aura and pissed look and me whispering 'just say that you didn't lock the door also wanna scold...' and gestured at me to cool down and let it go. Ish......luckily my mom was there, or I'll probably have the aura hanging around for much longer...
My dad was probably a bit moody cuz it was my grandfather's death anniversary, so he was busy preparing everything since my mom and I were at the cervical cancer campaign at the DJROA centre, so he had to do everything alone, so it's excusable...but not a reason either.
Ish......
I shall go regain my happy aura by reading D-Gray Man.

Fighting...to break free...
The mood I'm in right now can be summed up in two words: F***ing Pissed.
Here's the situation:
My friend Arashi and I planned to have a sleepover the night before Prom.
Purpose: So that we can prepare for prom together. You see, I'm not a very 'prom' person, and therefore is not used dressing myself up. And having no experience in this sort of matter, I thought that it would be a good idea to have a friend with me while I prepare so that at least I can get help with make-up and stuff and dress. Plus, sleepovers are great fun.
So I pitched this idea to my dad. Here's the conversation:
Me: Dad ah, can I have a sleepover at my friend's house? On Thursday?
The master of all universe: Thursday? Where? Which friend?
Me: The friend staying at Taman Melawati there...Arashi.
The My-Word-Is-Law guy: (In my-word-is-law tone) Why? no lah...
Me: Cuz...
[interrupted]
I-am-dad-and-what-I-say-goes man: NO.
Inner me: WAT??? WHY??? WTF? You haven't even listened to my reasoning and suddenly said No?!?! What's up with that?!?!
What would you have felt?
I really lost the 'prom' mood. It just got zapped off my mind by that Almighty 'NO'. the reason that I wanted to go to the prom was to have fun with my friends. And what's wrong with getting started on that fun early by having a sleepover.
ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've been avoiding him whole time since that conversation. Not to merajuk, just didn't feel like being in close proximity with him. I'm afraid I might just suddenly lash out and hurt him physically.
Even now, after 18 years, I'm still under his control.
My sister had friends sleepover at my house when she was my age, why can't I have the same? He didn't even give me a chance to explain why. Why? Because what he says is law? And I can't change that?
I will, believe me, someday I will.
I will break free.

Random-ness that crops up from an unwanted boredom
Haha...just realized that I've been abandoning my blog.
I should really blog more often, at least then I can reread my blog when I'm bored.
That's how saaad I am, that I read my own blog when I'm bored.
Nolah, I don't really read my own blog...just blog-hop around...looking for ex-DJian's blog...see what they're up to at the moment and stuff.
Yeah.
I'm such a sad, sad person.
Hey come on...what's so sad about wanting to know about the whereabouts of the people that you've known for 5 years (+/-, considering primary school or transfers).
So yeah!
Aiyoh...frankly I'm super bored lah...gila sien...
OWH OWH OWH!!! PEOPLE READING THIS!!! WATCH THE DARK KNIGHT!!!
SERIOUSLEEEEEEEEEEY...I have never been more serious about being serious.
It is...in the words of JC (college friend) 'can say sama taraf or better than Transformers'
I agree. And I LOVED Transformers (CGI HAVEN).
So PLEASE. PLEASE. PLEASE. I'm begging you with puppy eyes. Watch The Dark Knight.
Christian Bale is SMOKING HOT...
Hahahah, even Kean Lee admitted it, roflmao.
And Heath Ledger had never shown better performance. RIP.
And Two-Face really scary.
BUT
Here it comes...[SPOILER ALERT!!]
I sangat tak puas with the ending...I know it makes Batman lagi awesome than he already is...but...for those who watched it you know lah why I tak puas. IT'S NOT FAIR!!! NOT FAIR AT ALL!!!
I hope the make another Christopher Nolan/Christian Bale Batman movie...with a story of how Batman regains the people's faith and trust in him.
I can't get enough of them...Christopher is a genius.
And I am soooo totally in love with Batman right now...not Christian Bale (maybe a lil?) but with Batman/Bruce Wayne himself. Maybe it's just a phase, but Batman/Bruce Wayne is an awesome character. Haha.
KKies, gotta go listen to some songs and watch a lil olympics.
Owh btw, Beijing Olympics Opening was AH-MAY-ZIIING!!! China really outdid themselves...from the fireworks to the performances to the energy of those performing, you could really feel that China put 150% effort in this, and it was worth it...if you missed it I feel so sorry for you.
Wonder if Malaysia could ever pull off a similar stunt. From the looks of it, I doubt it. Not that I don't believe in my country or anything, I just don't believe the politicians will keep their hands off it. Probably use it to spread some propaganda crap. Those power-crazy kiasu idiots probably will make a mess out of it. Being really emo when talking about politicians...and who can blame me?
KK, better ciao...

Of Prom Dresses and Snakes
Went to One Utama yesterday to search for a dress with Arashi and Katherine. While ronda-ing we came across the MINI reptile exhibition in front of Waffle World and since a girl was holding a snake, we decided to check it out (even though I went past that exhibition for tens of times) and one of the girls there was selling tickets to the real exhibition (RM5 per person...as sold at the booth). So since we really had nothing to do we decided to check it out. Lol...we stayed there for probably two hours. Supposed to be looking for a dress, go tengok ular pulak... But it was great fun. One of the guys took out a small ball python for us to play with. It was soooo cool, really nice to hold and really cute. I held a python before, but this was my first holding it for a while...
So we chatted with the abang there for quite a while...he told us more about the snakes, how he got them and their characteristics and stuff. He fed the ball python a small mouse to show us first hand how it ate. He even let me play with a baby albino snake, forgot what species it was though, but it was really cute. Was pretty freaked holding it though, because it was really small and fast, and I was afraid that I will hold it too tightly or loosely, haha.
All in all, it was really an amazing experience...my passion for snakes sorta went through the roof after that. SNAKES ARE AWESOME!!! Still, I'm not as obsessed until I will live with them or whatever, but I really really like snakes, and I know better than to handle one without first confirming its species. But still, it was really cool. Sad though, it will only be here until the end of July, so I wouldn't really get a chance to play with the python anymore...*sniff*
Dang, wish I could post pictures up here, but I don't have the cable to connect my phone to the computer...aihz...
But if anyone has a chance to go there, please do so...it's really nice. Ask the guys there to being a snake out for you to hold...(ball python...they're nice...)
That's it for now, tata!
(PS: I got my dress!!)

To A Friend...
To a very great friend...
One that, by fate, got stuck with me for 5 years in DJ,
And though her evilness has caused some disfunction in my psychology in later years,
And invisible bruises to my very fragile ribs,
And her short jokes has trampled my ego,
But her never-ending tales of fantasy,
And countless role-playing games,
And jokes that make your sides ache,
And companionship (face-to-face or msn) has kept me away from the shores of boredom,
And imagination which knows no boundaries nor logic that keeps me away from harsh realities of life,
And best of all; friendship,
Has made me grateful for the last five years...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY HUI LENG!!!
(Hui Leng if you find this cheesy...I hope you don't kill me *big puppy eyes*)
